As childhood friends, we’ve always been fascinated by rivers and jungles, feeling an innate sense of harmony amidst them. Nature was the perfect refuge, away from the noise and monotony of city life. Becoming ardent nature lovers and keen anglers has been a natural progression for us. 

In 2011, Himalayan Outfitter was formed with the intent of funding our wanderlust, to share experiences and showcase the very best of the Himalayas to discerning outdoor sportsmen and enthusiasts.

An avid fly fisherman, wildlife and nature lover with a passion for learning more about different game fish species of the world, he enjoys reading fishing journals, tales and updating his knowledge about tackle. His eagerness to experiment with different angling techniques and enthusiasm for sharing experiences make him a good fly fishing guide.

Sabir Manshahia

An enthusiastic angler since childhood, he's fished for various species on Himalayan waters. A voracious reader of old hunting and fishing tales, he's also a keen observer of wildlife with a fixation for tigers and leopards. A specialist in lure and coarse fishing, his ability to read fish behavior, weather and water conditions is what makes him a good angling guide.
