Bookings and Payment
After selection of a preferred destination itinerary, a 50 % advance deposit per person of the total trip cost will be required to confirm that Itinerary. The remainder and final payment is to be made 30 days before trip departure date. We would issue an e-mail receipt for both advance deposit and final payment. A hard copy of the payment receipt would be issued before completion of the trip.
All payments can be sent to us by wire-transfer; bank information will be sent to you via e-mail.Travel Insurance
Due to the nature of our business, we highly recommend that you purchase travel/trip insurance to cover any unforeseen event resulting in cancellation, postponement or rescheduling of the trip for any reason.Refunds
to the seasonal nature of our work, we do not give refunds after
receiving the final payment for the trip, as it is not possible to put
those trip dates up for reservation again within weeks from departure
date of the upcoming tour.
However, if you fail to make the commitment due to some exigency, we can reserve dates for you for the following season.
Refunds for advance deposits are made till 45 days before trip departure date but are subject to application of a 20 % cancellation fee on the total trip cost. From this time period(less than 45 days to departure date), no refunds are given for either advance deposit or final payment.
Himalayan Outfitter cannot be held accountable for any delays caused by hazards beyond our control. This includes airline, baggage delays, delays caused by landslides, rain, accidents or any other natural hazards.
